The Sacred Kings

Code of Conduct

Effective December 9, 2025 · Next Review March 2026

This Code of Conduct sets the ethical and behavioral standards for all men representing The Sacred Kings or holding Integrity Certified Member status. It is designed to protect clients and community members, uphold trust, and ensure that all members embody the integrity, maturity, and heart-centered leadership that define our community.

Scope and Limitations
This Code applies to Integrity Certified Members during their active membership with The Sacred Kings. It represents a voluntary commitment to ethical standards in personal and professional conduct.

Important Clarifications

This certification:

  • Does NOT constitute professional licensure, therapeutic credentials, or legal authorization to practice medicine, psychology, or licensed counseling
  • Does NOT guarantee or warrant any member's behavior or professional competence
  • Does NOT create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship between members and The Sacred Kings
  • Does NOT create legal mandatory reporter status where it does not exist through professional licensure
  • DOES represent completed training in accountability practices and voluntary adherence to these ethical principles during active membership

1. Core Values

Integrity

I honor my word as sacred. When I make a commitment, I follow through or communicate transparently when I cannot.

Accountability

I take full responsibility for my actions, words, and energy — especially when harm occurs.

Respect

I treat all individuals with dignity, regardless of gender, orientation, belief, or background.

Confidentiality

I safeguard the privacy of those who trust me. What is shared in confidence remains in confidence, except where mandatory reporting laws require disclosure or I choose to report suspected harm.

Consent

I uphold the highest standards of consent in all physical, emotional, and energetic interactions. I practice explicit, informed, voluntary, and revocable consent.

Service

I act in alignment with the well-being of others and the greater good of the community.

Humility

I recognize that I am always a student as much as a teacher. I stay open to feedback, correction, and growth.

2. Ethical Principles

2.1 Boundaries with Clients and Participants

  • I do not engage in sexual, romantic, or manipulative relationships with current clients or participants
  • I maintain professional boundaries at all times and avoid dual relationships that could lead to exploitation or confusion
  • I recognize and honor power dynamics in all professional relationships

2.2 Truth in Representation

  • I represent my qualifications, certifications, and abilities honestly
  • I do not claim to offer therapy, medical treatment, or legal advice unless I am professionally licensed to do so
  • I clearly distinguish Integrity Certification from professional licensing in all communications

2.3 Power and Responsibility

  • I recognize the influence I hold as a facilitator or coach and use it ethically — never to coerce, control, or exploit
  • I avoid using spiritual or psychological frameworks to shame, manipulate, or dominate others

2.4 Touch, Energy, and Intimacy

  • I engage in any physical or energetic practices only with explicit, informed, voluntary, and revocable consent
  • I explain the nature, purpose, and boundaries of such practices clearly before participation

2.5 Conflict and Repair

  • I commit to addressing conflicts directly, maturely, and respectfully
  • When harm occurs, I take responsibility, seek understanding, and work toward repair with sincerity and humility
  • I do not avoid difficult conversations or deflect accountability

2.6 Substance Use Standards

  • I will not consume alcohol or mind-altering substances before or during professional sessions, workshops, or Sacred Kings community events
  • I prioritize clear presence and professional responsibility in all client and community interactions

3. Conduct Agreements

Each Integrity Certified Member agrees to:

  • Code Adherence — Adhere to this Code in all professional and community interactions during active membership
  • Badge Display — Display the Integrity Certified logo only while maintaining active standing and good conduct. Remove all branding immediately upon expiration, suspension, or decertification.
  • Accountability Review — Submit to review if a credible concern or complaint arises, and cooperate fully in any accountability process
  • Ongoing Participation — Participate in ongoing Integrity Circles (quarterly or semi-annual check-ins)
  • Annual Renewal — Complete annual renewal process including affirmation of continued commitment
  • Insurance Requirement — Maintain professional liability insurance at minimums of $1,000,000 per occurrence / $1,000,000 aggregate
